I am working through the factions campaign so i can get spirit twisting and drop 2 agonies in quick succession...

You can't have more than 1 of the same kind of spirit out at a time. So if you used Agony -> Soul Twisting -> Agony then the Second Agony would just take place of the first.

I think he means the fact that the spirits die quick, and he can recast it fast.

I guess you have never used the Ritualist version then? You use Nighmare Weapon and Triple Shot as your self heal, at 16 Channeling it gives you about 168 health back from the lifesteal if all the arrows hit the target.

Statistically, the Ritualist may get beaten by other primary professions, but in terms of style and uniqueness, it wins hands down.

^ where do you get those statistics from? My guild has held many 1 on 1 tournies and Rit usually has no problems. The only problem professions are rangers (ranged, interrupt) and dervishes (massive healing)
anti melee = blind (weapon of shadow)
anti spike = generous was ...
mes and necro can give trouble to rit same way they do to any other professions.
if you want to make the playing field really unfair, lay down spirits.

You make no sense. What does that have anything to do with it? It was a response to Sante_Kelm's comment. read those first.
As for Sante_Kelm: yes you're right I agree spawning power compared to other profession's primary attribute is pretty weak. I would say even the elites in Channeling are pretty weak too (which has already been discussed)
Edit:
I won't pollute this topic with non-sense like below. Anyways if you read or can read you'll see my response is quite logical to argument that Rits can't perform against other professions (as shown/proven wrong by 1 on 1). I've learned not to argue with certain ppl who can't use any logic or change the subject at hand for no reason.

I've also been able to drop 2 bloodsongs, 2 agonies, etc.

It is correct, and you are delusional.

It makes plenty of sense...
1v1 has about as much strategic planning and skill involved as rock paper scissors, and is balanced in about the exact same manner.

So you're telling me and the rest of us, as well as Wikipedia, that we're wrong?
I can tell you for a fact that I continually see my spirits die when I recast them, I don't know how else to make you believe me O_o

How did you work that out? Nightmare Weapon only affects each hit not each attack skill. If you use Triple Shot it will hit the enemy 3 times and thus ending Nightmare. If you use it with Barrage you will get the life steal from only the first 3 hits. The other hits will hit as normal.
